What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Authors at Noodle Bake provide a third-party contact form. We do not collect and store any information you provide – the purpose of the contact form is for temporary, quick and easy communication between visitor and website owners. After replying to a contact form submission, the email may be deleted if no important information is necessary to remember.
Any information submitted via the contact form will not be used for marketing purposes; nor will you be “subscribed”, or treated as a subscriber. As mentioned above, it is a temporary method of contact.
With the default configuration, this plugin, in itself, does not:
+ track users by stealth;
+ write any user personal data to the database;
+ send any data to external servers;

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If you have left comments, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
